What's New in Ontario Poker?
There have been some happenings as of late in the Ontario poker world, so I started this new weekly column to give you the most important news rapid-fire. This first iteration of the column will cover more than 7 days, but after that it will be weekly reports.
Nov 1st - 888Poker receives Best Poker Operator of the year award at the 2022 ECG awards
Nov 6th - The KO Series is underway at 888Poker and will run until November 21st culminating in a $250 buy-in $100,000 guarantee Mystery Bounty event with a whopping $10,000 top bounty prize.
Nov 8th - Responding to player requests, 888Poker removed the timer from their popular Blast SNG format. An Ontario player took down $140,000 in one of these last month. The SNG's will now play out like regular SNG's and not force players all-in at a pre-determined interval.
Nov 14th - Ontario-born Player Alexander Puchalski Wins the 2022 APPT Cambodia $1,500 Main Event for $96,028.
According to Pokernews "The Canadian has been playing poker for eight years, where he mainly focuses on cash games. He is currently based in Thailand"
